Point of view: Should there be subject wise cut-off for NEET

Biology should have more weightage
Every subject should have a minimum cut-off, however, the weightage of Biology section should be more, since these students are going to be doctors they should be masters in Biology. Physics is not that relevant for students preparing for medical, yet it is important. The difficulty level of Biology section can be increased but should carry more weightage.

Minimum marks A student should have a grasp over all the three subjects. There should be some minimum marks per subject which are required to clear the NEET exam. Then the students may realise the importance of all subjects and drop a year to prepare better for next year.

Based On Difficulty
No Qualms
Only meritorious students make it to the government colleges. Most of the Medicine students have inclination towards Biology and may not be able to perform well in other subjects. We cannot expect every Biology student to be well-versed in application-based questions while they have to have good understanding of Biology.
