Admission Process of Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development, Pune
- A candidate desirous of seeking admission to BBA/BCA programme should fulfill the minimum eligibility condition as laid in (2) above.
- He / she must have appeared for the B-UMAT Test.
- The candidates shall be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the Combined BBA / BCA merit list and availability of the seats for the programme at a particular institute of the candidates’ choice. The candidate has to mention the choice of the institute in the application form.
- i) In the case of candidates securing equal number of marks in the Entrance Test, candidates will be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivalent examination.
- ii) When the marks scored in the entrance test, percentage of marks at SSC are the same, candidate will be ranked on basis of computerized random numbering.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate applying for the BBA/BCA Programme should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board situated in India.
The candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they complete their examination including practical Examinations, viva / assignments on or before the day of admission to the institute of their choice. Such candidates will have to produce marks statement at the time of admission.
The admission of student, will remain provisional until the other necessary certificates in original, are submitted to the institute. The last date to submit all the certificates (except statement of marks) in original shall be , if certificates are not submitted by the said date or the eligibility is not granted, the admission would automatically stand canceled. II.MCA
Admission Process
1) M.Sc
You will be selected on the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by the University. It will be for a duration of 2 and a half hours. It will consist of 100 questions based on the respective Bachelor’s degree Course syllabus. There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
2) Master of Science [M.Sc] (Biotechnology)
You will be selected on the basis of BVU – MBT Entrance Test 2019. The test will consist of one paper with 100 objective type questions. The exam will be of one and a half hour duration. There is no negative marking in the evaluation of this exam.
3)Master of Science [M.Sc] (Nursing)
You will be selected on the basis of a Common Entrance Test conducted by the University. There will be 100 questions in the test based on the B.Sc. Nursing syllabus. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark with no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
4) Master of Optometry (Optometric Technology / Optometric)
You will be selected on the basis of M-EYECET Entrance Exam. It will be for a duration of 2 and a half hours. It will consist of 100 questions based on the B. Optom. Course syllabus. There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
5) Master in Audiology and Speech- Language Pathology [MASLP]
You will be selected on the basis of the Common Entrance Test conducted by the University.
6) Master of Business Administration [MBA]
You will be selected on the basis of the B-MAT Entrance Exam conducted by the University. It will consist of a written test, a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
The written test will be conducted for a duration of two and a half hours. It is of 200 marks with 200 multiple choice type questions of one mark each with four alternatives. There shall be no negative marking. The breakdown of the questions is as follows:

One seat over and above the sanctioned intake of the programme at each center is reserved for sons and daughters of migrants from J & K valley, Defence and Civil Service personnel engaged in fighting against terrorist activities in J & K valley (D.O.
