Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Pune was established in 1989 to fulfill aspirations of students to obtain professional “education and growing demand for education in dentistry in this region.”Initially it was affiliated to the University of Poona. In April 1996, it became a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). The college has been recognized by the Dental Council of India. Over the years, this College has earned recognition and reputation at the National and International level. Currently, one undergraduate and eight postgraduate courses are being offered at this College including induction of PhD programme. The College is housed in a building of 1, 32,308 sq. ft. with extension of 75363 sq. ft. as a P. G. wing. The building is not only an architectural beauty but it is functionally well planned. The Dental College and Hospital is pioneering institute in this part of the country in the field of dental education. The university invites applications to the four year undergraduate B.Tech. Programme for the academic year 2018-19. The admission to the programme will be through an All India Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018 conducted by the University conducted across 8 centres on May 29^th, 2018. Eligibility Criteria:

For all courses: You should have passed in qualifying examination i.e. H.S.C./10+2 or ICSC or equivalent with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of following subjects – Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology. You should also have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Maths and any one optional subject taken together.

You can obtain the Application Form either from any of the University campuses in person or download it from the University website under the “Online CET Registration” tab.

If you have downloaded it from the website, you should take a printout of the form. You must fill the form with the required personal and educational details.

You should also select your choice of centre of examination.

You should be careful to avoid overwriting, cutting, erasing on the form. Any discrepancies in the statements and/or submission of incomplete form will lead to its rejection/cancellation of admission.

Application Fee: You should pay Rs. 1500 as Application fee either in the form of cash or by a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalised bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. In favour of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune” and payable at Pune.

Admission Process

BE/B.Tech

You will be selected on merit on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the All India Common Entrance Test CET (Engineering) – 2018 conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

The examination consists of one question paper. It will be set in English medium and will contain 200 multiple-choice objectivetype questions with four options A, B, C, & D with only one correct choice. It will consists 100 questions on Mathematics and 100 questions on Physics. There shall be no negative marking for an incorrect answer.

Reservation

The reservation policy will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India. In addition, 15% seats will be reserved for Foreign/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI and Management category.
