Our Inspiring Soul
Shri Ram Murti Ji was a veteran freedom fighter. He was so much impressed with the speeches, the logic and the sentiments of Gandhi Ji that he courted arrest while studying in Banaras Hindu University. He took part in all satyagrahs and Quit India Movement launched by A.I.C.C. under the matured and dynamic leadership of Gandhi ji. He was jailed several times during freedom struggle and sentenced Kaal Kotri for two months. He was a true Gandhian.He completed his primary education from Bareilly. He then graduated from BHU, Varanasi and pursued his Master & Law degree from Lucknow University. He learnt lesson of “Nisswarth Sewa†from Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya and under his guidance practiced it with utmost devotion and determination. He also served as a volunteer at Allahabad Kumbh.
Shri Ram Murti Ji was a member of U.P. Assembly from 1946 till 1977. In 1977, he represented Bareilly in the Lok Sabha. Ram Murti Ji served as a Minister in the Cabinets of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant, Dr. Sampoornanad, Shri. C.B.Gupta & Mrs. Sucheta Kriplani for nineteen years and always worked for the development of the state and country.
To promote green revolution in India he visited several countries like USA, Japan, England and Taiwan on agricultural missions of Govt. of India.
Ram Murti Ji declined to accept the pension offered to the freedom fighters, since he was of the conviction that whatever he did for the motherland was out of patriotism and not for material gains. In pursuance of the same patriotic spirit, he donated 30 acres of agricultural land in the “Bhoodan Movementâ€. He breathed his last on October 2, 1988 at Bareilly.
Such a great soul he was and a truly inspiring one!

MBBS Programme
The MBBS Programme has been designed taking into account all aspects of health care, patient care, teaching and research. The goal of the programme is to produce Physicians & Surgeons sensitive to the health needs of the country, capable of ministering to those needs and be aware of the necessity of continuing their own education. More emphasis will be towards imparting education to socially responsible persons seeking the knowledge and skills required for the prevention and treatment of disease.
Annual Intake
The Institute has an annual intake of 100 MBBS students in every academic session.
Admission Criteria
All the seats are allotted through counseling organized by State Government as per the merit secured in UNDER GRADUATE – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG-NEET).
Duration
Total duration of the programme is 54 months divided over 9 semesters of six months each followed by one year compulsory rotating internship from SRMS IMS, Bareilly.
Eligibility
Nationality
Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRI’s), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s) & Foreign Nationals are eligible for appearing in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG), 2017.
Age limit The candidate must have completed age of 17 years at the time of
admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December,2017 i.e. the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S. The upper age limit for NEET is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to OBC/SC/ST category.
Educational Qualification The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General candidates. Further, for persons for locomotor disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are appearing in Class XII examination in 2019 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.

Other Terms & Conditions
1. In accordance with the judgement passed by hon’ble Supreme Court in Islamic Academy of Education vs State of Karnataka 2003 (6) SCC 722, the managements of the institution may seek Bank Guarantee for tuition fees for whole course or the candidate may also depsoit full advance fee, which shall be kept in the form of FDR in a nationalized bank. At the end of the course the interest earned on these deposits shall be paid to the candidate.
2. The institution will collect the fee & other expenses every year in month of July.
3. A sum of Rs. 25,000/- per semester per subject for all failed students has to be deposited in
each phase of study during the academic year.

Internship
Internship is a time for a graduate to apply theoretical knowledge into practical skills !
A student has to undergo compulsorily Internship from the Institute for 12 months on rotatory basis after passing out the 3rd Professional (Part-II) Final Examination.
Institute’s Internship programme is framed according to MCI norms wherein a graduate is expected to conduct actual practice of medical and health care and acquire skills under supervision to make oneself competitive enough to deal with all emergencies and provide basic medical consultation independently.

Educational Qualification
Candidates in possession of MBBS Degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31 March 2019. Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) which is conducted by National Board of Examinations. Further, they should have been registered with MCI/SMC and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 31.03.2019. Foreign Medical Graduates are required to bring their FMGE Pass certificate issued by NBE on their Testing Day
