South East University is one of the oldest universities in China. It is approved, regulated and governed by the Ministry of China. It is listed in the top universities in China. Precisely referred as SEU, it is a member of the projects 985 and 211. The university offers courses in the engineering, medicine and architecture academic disciplines.

The origin of the Medical college of South East University dates back to 1935. Earlier, it was termed as Nanjing Railway Medical College affiliated to Central University, which was later merged in the year 2000.

Since it invites international students to join MBBS in China, the medium of instruction is English. Courses

The university offer MBBS as 6 years undergraduate medical program inclusive of one year training as intern.

Admission Procedure

Students who completed the 10 + 2 school education or I.Sc or any equivalent education with a minimum of 60 % aggregate marks.
Main subjects of study should be biology, physics and chemistry, with minimum 60% marks in each subject.
The applicant should be a non-china nationality and abide by the laws
Age shall be minimum 16 years
Should have good track of academic records
Should have good health and provide all certificates
Should be fluent in English language

Knowledge in English is mandatory since English is the main teaching language. As well, the university calls for eligibility in TOFEL exam or IELTS test score to prove the proficiency in English.

Applicants should have score a minimum of 61 marks in TOEFL online or 500 marks in TOEFL paper exam. Similarly, in case of IELTS, the minimum score shall be 5 to become eligible for application.
