ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admission) is conducted on the national level by AIMS (Association of Indian Management Schools). It conducts the ATMA exam four times a year in February, May, August and December. The AIMS was established in 1988 with a goal to select candidates with the high IQ in managerial abilities. Some of the reputed management colleges like IIMs, S.P Jain, NMIMS, ICFAI, and MDI are members of the AIMS.

ATMA Exam 2018 Pattern & Syllabus
The ATMA exam tests the candidate’s suitability to study for the higher management courses. Their managerial IQ is tested by putting questions in Numerical reasoning, Verbal reasoning and Analyzing and Synthesizing abilities.

ATMA Exam 2018 Eligibility
Age – There is no age bar to appear in the ATMA Exam.
Educational Qualifications –
- A candidate should have a Bachelor’s/Equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream–B.A, B.Com, B.Tech, B.sc etc. from a recognised Universities.
- The appearing candidates in the Bachelor’s final year are also eligible to appear for the exam.
ATMA Exam 2018 Application Process
Candidates can apply for the ATMA exam online as well as offline.
How To Apply Online
- A candidate should visit the ATMA official website.
- For registration, a candidate should fill his/her details like Name, Address, Date of birth, valid Email id and Mobile number.
- After registration, the candidate will be provided with the login credentials on their email id.
- With the login credentials, a candidate can access the ATMA 2018 application form.
- The candidate should fill all the specified columns in the application form.
- A candidate should pay the Registration fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking transfers.
- A candidate should provide his/her educational qualifications details. The candidate should fill all the columns correctly.
- Upload the scanned copies of his/her Photograph and Signature. After filling the Application form, the candidates are advised to take the print copy of it. This print copy will be used for the future references.
How To Apply Offline
- The candidate can get the Application form from the given centers by paying the Application fee.
- Once the candidate submits the Application form, he/she is given the PID code.
- This PID code should be retained by the candidate, as it will be used in future while downloading the Admit Card.
- The candidate should not forget to keep 2 copies of the filled application form which will be used for the future references.
Application/Registration Fee
The candidate should pay the Registration fee/ Application fee of ₹ 1100. It can be paid online through the Credit card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Bank Transfer or by cash in the offline mode of payment.
Other Details
Admit Card
Candidates can get their Admit Card online from Feb. 2018. They can download the admit card with the help of their login credentials on the official website of the AIMS. Candidates should carry the admit card at the examination center. They should also carry a copy of their identity proof which they have used while filling their application form.
Result Declaration
The result of the ATMA Exam will be declared a few days after the exam. Candidates can check their results on the AIMS official website by entering their login credentials like Username and Password or PID code. The ATMA result gives the candidate’s individual score in Quantitative, Analytical, and Verbal abilities and his/her total aptitude score also.
Note – The ATMA score remains valid only for a year.
